DaSilva was a 21-year veteran of the transfer station, which Winter Brothers Waste Systems purchased in 2011.

“We’re tremendously saddened by his passing and by the circumstances that resulted in his death,” said Ryan Bingham, a spokesman for the trash company.

Marcio F. Da Silva, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Danbury. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 17th at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St, Danbury at 5:00 PM. Interment will be in Brazil.

We will not forget you, Marcio Da Silva.
