This week’s employee highlight is LEED administrator, Emily Sredin. Emily got her start in the waste and recycling industry at Lakeshore during her summer breaks while attending college at Western Illinois University. Now graduated, Emily is a full-time key employee of our Material Recovery Facility (MRF) division. Emily has facilitated the safety initiative at our California Avenue transfer station by implementing a Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) gear pack that all customers are required to wear on site. Outside of Lakeshore, Emily enjoys listening to live music and doing outdoor activities in the water. Emily, thank you for all of your hard work and dedication at Lakeshore! #LiveSafety #LRShighlight
