In Loving Memory of Roger Bingham of City

Roger Bingham

Company: City

Years of Service: 15

Comments: Volunteer Roger Bingham said Pastor and Sanitation Worker Daniel Witherow was killed by a drunk driver back on May 11th. The fundraiser will be on Saturday, July 22nd from noon to 6. Bingham said it will be a time of remembrance.

“First of all, to celebrate the life of Daniel,” said Bingham. “Daniel was a wonderful man. He was a man of few words, but his words meant a lot. There wasn’t a person in the world that didn’t like Daniel. The second reason is Daniel left a wife and four children. We’re just having this fundraiser to let them know how the people in the community loved their father and husband and to help out with some expenses.”
Bingham said Witherow’s death was personal because Witherow was much more than just a pastor to him.

We will not forget you, Roger Bingham.

Together, let’s honor the memory of the men and women who have served by our side. Whether on the garbage trucks, delivering portable sanitation units, or working in the offices and repair shops, the employees of our industry serve important roles and are very special people. As we remember this fallen hero of the waste industry, we join with their family and co-workers to honor their service.
